1. This is the Grab head
that removes the sample. >>
2. A slit is manually cut in the bale
to prepare for the Grab sample to be taken. >>
3. The Grab head pulls out a sample. >>
4. The samples are placed into bags to be
displayed in boxes at the sale >>
5.The bale is next conveyed
to the coring machine. >>
6. The bale is compressed to prepare for the coring >>
7. Core samples are taken
at different positions throughout the bale. >>
8. The core samples are blown into a bag, and then documented and labled for testing. >>
9. The bale is conveyed out the other end and placed back into the correct position within the store. >>
10. The samples are organised to be sent
to the testing facility. >>
